WOW!!  love my new BMC air filter

Did ya get the race or street version? I plan on getting the BMC or the K&N. I have the 06 LE ordered and want the best bang for my buck. Did you have a noticable gain?

If you go with the race one, YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-MAP.

I got the street version... (  I have yosh bolt-ons) not a full system,so I do not have a powercommander . you do not have  to re-map with the street version so I went with it..

as far as a noticeable gain...it seems faster!!!  HA! HA!  

not sure what it really gained on the HP?

from all previous accounts the change in air filter nets you about 0 hp on a stock bike.

Actually, I think either streetntrack or goldenchild (can't remember which) has stated that all the bikes they've been dyno'ing do better with the filter, so not ALL accounts.

Besides, it sounds cool.

Better check the seal on the base of it. I had mine in for the 15k and the guy had to put extra padding on the seal area. You may also want to do the Marble trick now. Mine was backfiring with my D&D and the BMC (street). Added MArble and it smoothed right out.

you just hear the "air" more with it? sounds like its pulling more air... just sound's cool!!!
and its red!!!

( that means it gos faster right)

my foam seal would not stick on right so I sprayed some adhesive on it... but I do know what your talking about.
when I put the filter in it seemed like it didn't fit as tight as the stock?

and I did the Marble trick at the same time I put the filter in...
