Wrecked my Busa today

I got some fairing work to do. I really don't know why I went across the median, but I made it straight across. Then manage not to get ran over by a oncoming car. Then kept going across another median. The only thing I can remember after I got to the second median was a tree in front of me. My buddies told me that they don't know how I made it across the first median. Then they said that the rear of the bike was wobbling across the second median and then just laid over. They said that I came off the bike and started rolling several times. I remember trying to stand up and I just keep falling down. My buddy got there and got me up and orientated. My fairing is cracked in the front and my frame slider is bent really bad. My left mirror is gone. Just the mirror, not the holder itself. After the State Trooper (:moon:) finally let me go, I rode my bike to my work place(65 miles) and left it there. I am sore but thankful to be alive. I was fine until my wife picked me up and we looked at my helmet and jacket. WOW! My helmet is trashed but worked well. It is covered with deep scratches. My jacket was filthy but was not torn at all. Be careful out there guys!

At least your ok, the bike can be replaced, or repaired!

Glad you made it what was the reunion like.

Thanks everybody. After getting home and settled down, I have been trying to replay what happened over and over. I told my wife that something went wrong and I didn't think it was on my end. I know my bike well and from gather the things that one of the guys kept saying to me after the wreck, I am almost 100% sure that he hit me. He kept saying that he was sorry and that he was starting to drift into my lane. I was still dazed at the time and kept asking him what happened. Later on, he said that he got scared because of the curb that was coming up and started drifting in my lane and he thought that he forced me off the road.. I was offset in front of him so I was watching the curb and not watching him. I told him that the last thing I could remember was the rear end got loose and then I started leaving my lane. I have never been hit before but I guess that just a little tap could get me loose. I am just glad to be alive!

glad you're ok, bro...looks like the man upstairs was watching over the both of us yesterday...hope you get your scoot fixed up & back on the road soon...

Sad part how impossible it will be to tell if there was tire to tire contact. Glad your still around heal up and get her back together.
