X-Tre issue

I DON'T have the X-TRE, but I do experience a very very very slight surging at constant cruising speeds and my bike is 100% stock. Like you said Liquidysplit, it doesn't show up on the tach, but I feel it and it really is ever so slight. Now that I think about it, it seems to come and go, I don't think it does it all the time.
I am thinking about getting the X-TRE, but there just seems to be such a negative thought about TRE's that I am still a skeptic. I have yet to see any dyno numbers from anyone to show it really does what it says it will do. I realize the website shows an increase, but would be nice to confirm here in the good ole USA. Anyone?

What is the negative talk? Got some facts, figures and stats to back it up, not to sound pushy.
I definitely don't have any stats, but I will promise you that the X-TRE kicks my 08 Busa into gear, so to speak in the lower gears... serious pickup in performance (throttle response they say)... almost dangerous and scary.
Easy enough to install and remove if you can pay the coin.

I did see those, and while impressive I'm just being the little skeptic and was looking for realworld dyno proof and opinions.
Like I said, this is a great product, I'm not knocking it and wont get rid of it. I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same things. I'm not worried about the mileage since this is a "toy" just like my 16' jetboat with a 496 BBC, I can burn thru 25 gallons in a hour and a half if I ran it hard enough. I'm doing another long run this weekend and will run without it see if it is the culprit or it's just me gettin into the throttle too much.
You are running around in 5th gear mapping all the time, so you get 5th gear fueling, thats most likely your surging IMO
