I have read a lot about the 16/42 gearing being used a lot and feel that this is what I wanna go with.
My first dumb question is what is the stock factory gearing?
I plan on extending the swingarm 6"-8" over and how will this effect the 16/42 combo?
What will I need to have my rpm and speedo reading right after the mods?
And what is the easiest way to figure out my new chain length with the longer swingarm?


Sorry if these have been discussed already,couldnt really find what I was looking for on search..

2. It will not wheelie as much and you will loose some power with the extension... If I were you, I wouldn't go anymore over 4", otherwise, youa really going to impact handling and it is noticable... I have mine at 7" right now... You don't have enough power to justify that long of an extension to be honest, I think it would just be for looks...

4. When you order the chain, tell them you need enough chain for so many inches over... IF you are really going to do the 8" over, I could go count my links for you...
