Yet another "Reasons not to stunt" video>>>

Here's the thing as far as I'm concerned:

If you want to do wheelies that's OK by me, just don't do them where you're endangering others. If you take out some innocent driver/rider/pedestrian due to your own stupidity, you deserve to spend time behind bars.

The jerk in the video was obviously trying to impress/full of himself. He got what he deserved, fortunately without causing harm to anyone else.
Ultimately, we all get what we deserve - the good news is roses are involved, the bad news is a casket is involved.  No one is exempt, so save the "I have a wife and kids" speech - its coming for us all, face it or not.  The best of us go down with weeping family and a community that feels the loss.  The  rest of us go unloved, unremembered and unmourned.  You don't know how it is going to end till it is over.

Self righteous judgement just slays me "yeah, but what I do is different . . "  Yeah, alright, whatever.

A bro or sis goes down, you stop - PERIOD - if he or she has lessons they need to learn most of the time the pavement will teach them without any nagging from the holy of holies.  You wanna help, offer suggestions without sounding like someone's mother-in-law.  If you want to sit on the curb and say "tsk, tsk" - save it for when you are back in your minivan.

Ahhh...so you're saying that if he hit and killed that innocent oncoming biker with ~700 lbs of upright bike at speed it wouldn't matter since he was going to eventually die one day any way?

Self righteous judgement just slays me "yeah, but what I do is different . . "  Yeah, alright, whatever.[/QUOTE]

Ok so are you saying there is no difference from doing a wheelie on a crowded public street or racing through a neighborhood full of kids vs. doing the same on an abandonded country road or a race track?  Yeah, like whatevaaa...gag me with a spoon!

I don't consider that assclown a bro or fellow rider, just an idiot squid riding along on his fashion statement that came within inches of killing another rider.
Billbell summed it up pretty good in the best quote I've read in a long time, "...or stand there and point at him and laugh and ask how cool he felt hitting the pavement".

Here is what I am saying, and it is all I am going to say on this:

Judge not lest you be judged, for the judgement you apply to others will be exacted upon yourself.

Try it sometime.

Just one more video to the collection as to why I don't do wheelies.

Somethings wrong with the world today..
1. he sits in his car cussing. (Get UP there and help the man!)
2. The other riders stand by his bike..(Get UP there and help the man!)
3. The car whizzes past, not even a tap of the brakes.. (Stop and help the man!)

Not to mention the whole stupid video concept.

Sigh....

Never ever ever ever play Queen somewhere where others could hear you listening. Jease!!! Kid's...

To the rest that think pulling wheelies and such is so bad.
I say *Hypocrisy is worst that **Stupidity. Wouldn't everyone agree?

*Hypocrisy ( hy·poc·ri·sy )
NOUN: pl. hy·poc·ri·sies
1. The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness.
2. An act or instance of such falseness.

**Stupidity ( stu·pid·i·ty )
NOUN: pl. stu·pid·i·ties
1. The quality or condition of being stupid.
2. A stupid act, remark, or idea.

All you guys who are criticizing this kid and calling him names,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I would be willing to bet there is not one of you who has not doubled or trippled the speed limit on public roads which is much more deadly than doing a wheelie. I see lots of posts on here about guys going 120 - 140 - 160 and more on public roads. I even hear guys bragging about maxing their busa out in excess of 180 but I never hear the term "Stupid" used with such brilliant acts of defeating death? I don't see many guys on here saying they crashed while doing a wheelie but there are lots of guys who post, rider went down in a corner today! In my opinion, going fast around a corner is much more deadly and crash prone than doing a wheelie down a straight stretch of road. A full 46% of the more than 3000 motorcycle deaths which occur in this country every year are a result of to much corner speed. I would bet there are no more than ten deaths due to wheelie activity? Think about it? I've probably done 25K wheelies, probably more and never crashed, but i have crashed in the corners! Doing a wheelie on a motorbike is just a big motorized unicycle that can be mastered with practice. You can never master going so fast around a corner that you cannot safely stop within your sight distance. How many of you do that on a regular basis? Picking the time and place to wheelie is the key. I don't do wheelies in traffic, mostly because I don't trust the cagers and some cagers don't appreciate it and the odd one will intentionally cut you off. So maybe the next time one of you guys who seems to enjoy calling other riders "Stupid" crash, going to fast for your skill level in a corner, the rest of us will respond with that wonderful adjective "Stupid"! So the moral of the story is, "Don't dish it out if you can't take it"! A motorbike doesn't crash on it's own. Every time one goes down it's due to rider input. The rider was doing something he should have not been doing to make the bike crash, ie: to much speed, braking, lean angle etc. Just put some thought into a post before you decide to use the adjective "Stupid" "Dumb" "Ass Hole" etc. A little courteousy goes a long way

Why do you assume that someone is a hypocrite when they say they don't stunt on crowded public streets? Not everyone that owns a Busa rides it like a fugtard. If someone here says they don't do wheelies or they only pick a safe place to do them then I believe them. Calling them hypocrites is nothing more than calling them liars and that's not going to get you very far around here.
I bet most the people here defending that "STUPID ASS IDIOT" will be crying and moaning come spring time when they have to pay their insurance premiums. Waaaaaa it's not fair we sport bike riders have to pay so much!

It also seems hard for some people to comprehend there are roads in this huge country that go on for dozens of miles with no traffic, no houses and no intersecting roads. And lets not forget sactioned drag strips and race tracks.

Oh, and my Busa was designed to move along at high rates of speed, not to be a fuggin unicycle.

And before anyone calls me a hypocrite, 20 years of riding and I've NEVER laid a bike down and I've NEVER had a speeding ticket in my life, yet I still know what my bikes and cars are capable of.

ive gone warp speed on public roads, and sure as hell wouldnt want a camera taping so you good guys can talk shiet.turbo you could go down on your next ride. so thats that. and if your on this cycle and really enjoying it your gonna do something others wouldnt like!!if not i call POSER !!!!

As for the tickets and accidents - Really? WOW.  Never ever . . I don't know if that is something to be proud of.  Are the sides of your tires as pristine and unscathed as your riding history?

You must save a lot of money on gear since you never crash.  Hell, helmet, boots, gloves, jacket / pants (or one piece leathers), plus replacing the pucks on the knees each year - that is at least a couple of grand.  You are so good I bet you ride in jeans, a t-shirt and shades, right?  I mean, you never crash . . .

As far as being a Teeny Bopper Squid (<span style='color:red'>who uses the phrase "Teeny Bopper" any more? what century is this?  Frankie Avalon called, he'd like his vocabulary back</span>) at least that explains all the '"Just turned 18" websites I seem to find myself at.

See - it isn't a question of "If I crash" it is a question of "when I crash."  That is why the smart daddy'o at the track wears helmets and leathers, not just to look cool, but <span style='font-size:15pt;line-height:100%'>for when they crash.</span>

I have to go now - The "Beach Blanket Bingo Christmas Special" is showing, and me and some hep cats from the neighborhood are going to the bijoux.

Call bullshit all you want but there are people who have been riding for decades without ever laying a bike down.  I guarantee there are plenty in this forum who have never wrecked their bikes or if they have it was due to other circumstances such as other drivers...oh I dunno like a retarded squid wheeling into them, deer, gravel/oil in a corner ect.
I guess all the others around here who say they don't stunt are bullshitters too or are like Thrasher and "belong in a minivan" because he lectured some idiot endangering everyone in his neighborhood?

And you don't keep insurance on your Busa?  $10+K bike and you have nothing to cover you?  What happens when you hit someone else (and apparently it happens quite often with you) and they sue you?  Are you one of those guys that live by the saying "ya can't squeeze blood from a turnip"?

I also really couldn't care less about you living in Florida.  Nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.  I manage to rack up at least 10K miles a summer between here and trips to Kentucky and Tennessee.

With the cracks about states, not having insurance ect. I'm thinking I've been reeled in on this one.  Got any pics of your Busa and not some 600 with a bunch of fur on it?

Even if you are a troll, Merry Christmas to you too!

Now I'm headed out on my snowmobile...something you can't experience in Florida!

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Cstate69, ask where I got the info on motorcycle accidents?

It comes from the (NHTSA) National Highway Traffic Safety Adninistration which compiles crash data annually in the (FARS) Fatality Analysis Reporting System database. Facts are analyzed, conclusions drawn and reports issued, and every January 1, the process begins anew.

The 2001 FARS report indicates that 3,181 motorcyclists were killed and an additional 60,000 injured in traffic crashes across the country. The 40 and older age group accounted for 40 percent of all motorcyclist fatalities. And what were they riding? Look around - big bikes(more than 1001cc) carried almost two-thirds of the fatalities involving riders 40 and older.

This is not to say that younger riders aren't involved - the 20 to 29 year old group has the highest number of fatalities among all age groups, bringing the mean age of motorcyclists killed in 2001 to 36.3. So What's taking us out? According to the FARS, multiple-vehicle crashes accounted for 54 % of the deaths in 01. Seventy-five percent of those were frontal impacts - only 6% were struck in the rear. This shows that most crashes develop from hazards right in front of us. It pays to be vigilant and watch where we are going! The remaining 46% of deaths can be attributed to single vehicle crashes of which most are atributed to entering a corner with to much speed.

Here are a few of the FARS from Oregon! (All Fatalities)
