Yosh Box settings?

Will the ECM hold yosh box settings if the battery is disconnected?

Also My tuner mapped my bike 0,+5,0 in each gear and dyno tested in in 6th. He said"there is a different map for each gear position and must be changed(mapped) in each gear!" Is this true, does anyone know for sure? I disconnected my battery and now I need to know if I need to remapp in each gear.It was easy on the dyno, he could turn the wheel a little on the roller but in my driveway sitting still it will be hard to actually get it in each gear. I guess I'll have to ride a little in each gear, then kill it in gear, map it, the go to next gear, kill it, map it and so on.... What a pain in the A$$

If you remove power from the ECU it may need to be reprogrammed (some say yes, I think no if it's a eprom or flash memory). There is only 1 f/i map in the bike. The gear position indicator (resistors) do tell the ECU what gear the bike is in and adjusts accordingly.

You do not need to map each and every gear.
