You just have to keep an eye on the packing with c/f.
Is there any downside to maintaining the finish of the carbon fiber cans?
get a TiForce screw the no power making yosh
John,
Since the main effect of the exhaust is in the header, (correct?,) how does the header section differ among the the R-77, Ti-Force and Akro?
So, put it out there, if you were gonna ride an 08, out of those 3 pipes, which would you run, would you go with aftermarket airfilter and which controller, PC3 or Bazazz? These choices based on keeping a totally stock motor...
I'm runnin the R-77 and PC3 now but wouldn't hesitate makin a change if there was some significant power increase. You put the best tune I ever had on that 02SE back when Todd and I came down together and as far as I'm concerned you know what works and what doesn't.
So, what would you hang on a stock 08 for best power, based on those pipes, controller and air filter choice and what makes the Ti Force or Akro outperform the R-77? (Not gonna run a short Brocks or sidewinder, etc, I like the looks of the others much better.)
Paul
The Yosh R77 (4 to 1) weight savings alone is a huge benefit, I don't understand why consider a 4 to 2 set up?
I just passed over 28,000 miles on this Yosh R-77 Carbon Fiber.... took this photo after I washed the bike this morning. I think the cosmetics on the carbon fiber canister are still pretty much kickin' ass....
Close-up.... check out the extra-beefy rivets I used on the end-cap when I re-packed this canister about 1000 miles ago....
The above having been said, I am thinking about selling my entire Yosh 4-into-2-into-1 R-77 setup you see in these photos here. I have decided to go back to a more symmetrical duel-exhaust set-up, most likely the Akropovic, but I am still considering it....
