Yea I saw that but where is that kit illustrated above? Dual Tri oval with dual tips, plus their a shorty pipes.

I have the stainless version. Our cans look like cannon's compaired to the shorter ones. Soon they will all have gone to the stubs that first appeared on the stock R6's a few years back.

i have the tri oval dual outlet on my 08 with carbon sleeves. from yoshimura japan. few pics from phone...

how does it fit into the gen 1?

It is only slip on so the cans will fit and mount up, the only drama will be with the mid pipes wont meet up correctly. If you are handy with a tig would be easy to make up new ones. I haven't seen any on gen 1 only full systems on earlier 1k's.

i will get the shorty in carbon fitted on my 08 busa soon and keep u posted guys - i am sure the sound is wicked coz i had one on my r6 it was just wicked

bollox and would be interested in trying it myself
maybe the best way would be to get the k8 cans and do a bit of fabriction on them anyway let us know how you got on
