yeah, I know...but these guys are cool as shid! I couldn't think of a better group to hang out with and have fun. Heck, if I wasn't the one takin' the pics, I woulda been in there hammin' it up with 'em! So here's a cold one, from me to you, wishin' you guys were here to join in on the fun.

Tank-you tank-you, Va! I tried to make my baby as nice and shiny as possible. Wanted to make sure that it looked slick. I actually love the way it looked in front of the house. I think I'll post it up again.

G-Busa, I haven't ran on the track yet. Did you see part one of this post? There was a guy on a 12. I think that's one of the biggest reasons why I want to get out on the track. I have not seen a comparison between the 1999 Busa and the first year 12. I know that there are pretty considerable differences between the 99 and the later model differences (considerable at least at the track). Regarding the leather, it's a requirement at the strip. Not many people wear riding gear when it's just Sunday cruising, but after the last incident, almost everyone has a helmet at least. I'll be sure to post my times when I decide to race, and I'll see if I can have a friend take the pics for me.

GB, I forgot to tell you: the strip is a 1/4mi. I wonder how I'll do against this guy. Whaddya think?
I forgot to mention. In the same tent where the funny car came from sits a Busa. It's dropped and raked out, looks nowhere near stock and has custom race fairings. Kinda looks like one of those turbo drag bikes. Thing is, it's only a stock 99 motor with progressive shot NOS system. And get this: it's a Harley guy that drives it!! He seems a little proud of blasting high 8s.
