++2 my next bike WILL be a 1K for sure..rode my friends 1k 3 weeks holy(kennym4 @ Oct. 02 2007,09:54) why would you buy a Busa if you thought is was ugly ?
My opinion, I like the 14's !! But if my only reason for getting a bike was because it was the fastest, I'd just get a Gixxer 1K !!

What the hell board is this?? I remember a few members here who bought 14's and they didn't get slammed like this! Somebody else here mentioned the 14's are having electrical issues, snapping frames, puking engines. I been watching those boards and only seen 2 confirmed cases of engine or electrical probs. Besides the one poster who had his frame break at the rear shock area, the other few were never verified if they were post crash broke or not. Isolated incidents and far from this bike being a Problem case.
If a handful of incidents like that make a bike a pile, then why do we ride busa's? I mean the '99's had a horrible clutch issue and clogging fuel filters. Cam chain tensioner fix took a few times to get right. Sub frame breakage's anyone?? Transmissions can give issues to a few too. And don't forget how much easier suzuki customer service is to deal with compared to kawi. They NEVER deny anything or give their customer a hard time. Nope. Never.
