Mine is within the VIN range also, 1400 miles and no noise/problems. There is no way I'm going to take mine in to the knuckle draggers to screw up! I'll take my chances. I'm betting that 99% of us Gen2 owners have not and will not experience this problem.Great, my K9 falls into the VIN range. I only have 150 miles on the bike so no noise yet though.
I'm going to check with the service department at FunBike today...

Nope... wasn't official until Cookie posted at least from Suzuki! Our oRg Brothers discovered the problem back in October of 08 and Suzuki addressed it just recently. Thanks Cookie for posting this info.I missed it in October, thanks.
