08 Hayabusas FOR SALE WHY????

I also think. These people get a busa not knowing just how fast it is. Then they get one and open it up once and they crap thier pants. Or like it to much and get a few tickets and have to sell. I know when they first came out in 99. The dealer sold the same bike at least three times that I know of. After the third time If i remember. only had 900 miles on it.

color change, some like to buy new every year, wife can't or won't ride, too many bill's, too much time spent riding away from the house, too much time spent in the garage doing mods and dreaming of warmer weather. Wife has to park her car outside. Wife is tired of Busa taking front seat to her. Wife tired of Busa parked in the living room

Many reasons......... now don't take this the wrong way, wives are not the cause, BUT, if momma ain't happy...................

That about sums it up right there. If momma aint happy.

I don't understand the "too fast" reason for selling one's bike. I'm likely once again displaying my infinite ignorance, but a motorcycle is only as fast as the rider allows it to be.

you right, it's almost like saying guns kill people, the one behind it is the one that decides fate.

I bought my '06 with 1200 miles on it from a guy who was about to lose his license ($8500) a deal that was HARD to pass up.

We are in a recessionk, so I'm selling my car  but my Busa stays unless I hit REALLY tough times . . .

bikes for some are toys. for others they are a part of life. regardelss of sportbike or not. typically with bad economic times people sale their toys. and you can see they rarely ride them due to the mileage. on the other hand for those that have a passion and make it part of their life. the bike usually aint goin nowhere regardless of finances... as the bike is the OUTLET for all the stress from the recession. so i guess i comes down to hobby or life ..:whistle:just my 2 cents

Couldn't agree more...

yup right there...i'm just waiting for her to say something...

Most people don't think when buying. They live in the moment and then face the music later on. Thinking ahead is the last thing on their mind. Insurance is the big killer. I've seen more guys try to get into motorcycles just to be turned away from the sport because of insanely high rates.

Rates that are likely to go higher as more and more idiots try to replicate what they see on YouTube, and those stunt videos.

prob the economy... bikes - especially sport bikes, are considered "extra" expenses, just stuff to make life better - not to just make life liveable. But on the flip side, better market for people like us that can afford live's little extras, we can pretty much set our price

Well! I had a bad accident on my first bike(yamaha v-star 650) at the end of 03 24th of December to be exact. I spent three weeks in the hospital with mutiple injuries. It wasn't even my fault! Anyway! My second bike was a 98 Suzuki 750 ram air. That bike was stolen only after about five mouths later. Man I was sick ! I had to wait until I recieved my settlement from my accident before I could get another (08 Busa). People thought I was crazy for riding again after my accident. Before I bought my busa I did some research and saw that it was back on top out doing the kawaski z-14. I just think you have to know what you can handle and don't try to be a speed demon cause it's almost never rider fault for an accident . People just don't watch for bikes.

Word has it that Suzuki has increased their prices across the board, 5-10%.

If you're really interested in getting one, my recommendation would be to...

Buy now!!!
