'09 'busa...meet Mr. Asphalt

Welcome! :welcome: These things happen, unfortunately. She'll be fine.

:welcome: Glad to have you on the org. As others have said, when parking the busa, it's a good idea to never park downhill, have the bike in gear and let it roll forward as far as it will after letting the clutch out, before you put down the kickstand.

its ok mine got her first scratch that way to, only it was in my house on carpet next to my jucuzzi

bike is "broken in" now..no more dumps! if the busa's your 1st bike, take it EASY..repeat after me, EAAAAASSSYYY..welcome to the madness:beerchug:

Nice bike man, sorry u dropped her. Just curious though. Do you have those chains secured to anything or just wrapped around the rims?

:welcome: to your latest addiction. Sorry to hear about the rubber leaving the pavement...tough deal.

Anyway, it's all replaceable...so... Onward! :beerchug:

Check out E-bay. Got a Right Side Fairing for $349.00 from Motorcycleparts2u.com

PS: "I did the same thing at a Stop Sign on my 86 Ninja 1000 back in 89"

**** Happens :rulez:

:welcome:
Same thing here within an hour of parking her in the garage, then moving it over a bit. Its' all good. Get yourself a bicycle tube (10speed) and put the chain through it to prevent scratching those rims.
Nice scoot.

Welcome to the org. Sorry about the drop. I almost did the same thing the day after I got my frame sliders installed. I was able to catch it but my knee hurt for 2 weeks from the strain. I will get pics for you soon so you can see how well the curves make the sliders blend in.:hide: I have the Blue/Black.

:welcome: and nice choice of scoots!:beerchug:

you know , all those chains are going to do is scratch your wheels. nobody rolls your bike away. they carry it into a van and cut the chain off later. i have hundreds of bike theft videos and only one guy actually rolled the bike away.so i got lo-jack and a pager alarm. and now i'm only a little paranoid. i'm not being a smart ass, i hear every day about my bro and his scratched up wheels from like 1983. and sorry about your lay down. and if your on a slight hill then put it in first and push forward until it locks up then put your stand down. good luck

just like the rest, the black looks much better in person! sorry about the mishap and i wouldn't sweat the "rash". it builds character  welcome aboard!

If you have room in that storage shed you cleaned out the bike would be much safer parked in there and would be kept from "prying" eyes when not being ridden. Use the chains on the shed doors.

At least it wont look like a "trailer queen". Sorry for the mishap ! Dont ever, ever, ever park with the nose facing downhill. Easy to tip over and it is a handful backing it out uphill. Welcome to the .org. There are a great bunch of guys and girls here.
