Is brake envy really possible??
It's funny with parts like this because you get "parts worship". Right now they feel like I have the Starship Enterprise laid out on my bed, almost don't want to put them on the bike. In six months they'll just be my brakes, no biggie! I was thinking last night that those brakes could be in a WSBK garage! That's pretty crazy to me, especially since I'm The Slow Rider!
I was not sure about this investment in the Busa frankly. The Bike sees a lot less miles and now the motorcycle is absolutely not sellable, I would have to give it away. There are always good and bad times, and I have always looked at toys as balancing fun and retainable value. But I like the challenge of seeing the vision through, and this has been fun so far.
The goal was to look at the fit, not confirm the concept. he larger version seems pretty close but the Photoshop image the kanji is rotated counter clockwise a bit and the horizontal stroke on the kanji hits below the rib in the fairing. May need a little smaller kanji. The white background is blowing the visual....
I get that, what I was meaning it's hard to see how it fits because the white alters how I'm perceiving the size of the kanji. The goal was to look at the fit, not confirm the concept. he larger version seems pretty close but the Photoshop image the kanji is rotated counter clockwise a bit and the horizontal stroke on the kanji hits below the rib in the fairing. That's an interesting concept...The white background made me wonder what the kanji would look like ghosted into the paint(visible at certain angles or different lighting).
Yeah I see that. It's less of a problem in real life but on the photos Its tougher.I get that, what I was meaning it's hard to see how it fits because the white alters how I'm perceiving the size of the kanji.
You had to think that out and type it buddy. You'll never get that time back, it's gone forever.OOOHHH BOY.... arch... just keep it above the 500 year flood plane... have u figured that out yet?
arch... u got a HUGE KanjiYou had to think that out and type it buddy. You'll never get that time back, it's gone forever.
In the concept the Kanji is sort of ghosted, certainly less up front as the white background makes it look. Paint colors are next step after I get the kanji laid out.The white background made me wonder what the kanji would look like ghosted into the paint(visible at certain angles or different lighting).
You have a good eye for proportion, I think if it looks right to you, it will be fine. I do think that six's idea would add to the overall concept. Maybe outlined in the grey, with the ghost hue inside?Yeah I see that. It's less of a problem in real life but on the photos Its tougher.
Yeah and I wear XXXL gloves too! Hey there's room for dump pipes...….arch... u got a HUGE Kanji
seriously consider ghosting that kanji..... what if u gamble incorrectly and it dominates the overall look?Yeah and I wear XXXL gloves too! Hey there's room for dump pipes...….
Just paint bro. There's more where that is coming from lol!seriously consider ghosting that kanji..... what if u gamble incorrectly and it dominates the overall look?
