I'm 17/43 right now. I was just thinking about going down -1 in the rear. But you like 17/42 pretty good?? I'm assuming you have a gen 2 busa right?

Yup gen2. I love it, but I went right from stock to that. You'll notice it be a little slower accelerating than 17/43 but have more top speed. But if your not hitting limiter racing I dont think you'll like it.

Hi. I do not like to go down om the front because it makes the chain turn tighter it is not the best for the chain. So for the street I will run 18 or 19 tooth front and a 43 rear. I will also have the over drive 5th and 6th gears and a 200 - 50 rear tire. for LSR I will use a 20 tooth front and a 36 tooth rear with a 200-55 tire. And yes a little extra HP helps.

If your target hp is a little extra, what on earth do you consider a lot?? You're headed for ludicrous speed as it is!

Hi Mr Brown. It will be for LSR and a little fun. for a lot 1000 HP. The old turbo F1 BMW motors at 1500cc made over 1400HP. My friends 69 Chevy 572ci twin 108mm turbo makes 3400HP. A lot run VP C16 do you know if any one runs VP C23? I want to run in the 1000 to 1350 +1350 to 1600 +1600 to 2000cc gas and the same 3 in the fuel class. Using VP C98. Also the 6 naked. At least I may be the fastest oldest great grand father!
