It was a old guy.. we are talking early 60's.. Had veitnam patches on his jacket.. rides up next to me and points and yells lets go... 20mph.. he hits the gas front wheel comes up off the ground maybe 4 inches... I at the same time crack into it.. I lift the wheel alittle above knee high (im 6") had to let off in the air for a sec and i was gone... checked mirror and he was like 20 bikes back easy... he comes up again lets go.. this time im thinking lets see.. poped it into 3rd gear 20mph roll.. we nail it and stay side by side for like 4 seconds till i pull... I had a bud behind my on a 2000 honda f4 watching it all this is how I have so much info on what his bike did.. we all pulled over and he was talking to me.. all happy with his bike.. said I know what i got bud you all aren't losing us that fast anymore lol.. said it was a 1100 or 1200 and that it had 120hp i forget... he pointed to like 3 letters on the front of the motor sr se or something i forget... his rear tire was very small ... You guys know which harley this is? I was impressed but when he said you got like 160hp dont ya? i smiled
it took my bud a sec to catch him on his f4 but this is his first year riding and is still very scared of it.... Anyway thought I would share one of my experiences i had today that i will never forget... and how old he was just blew me away when we were talking... I hope im still cracking the throttle like that when i get older
