I don't know where to start.... the train museum looks amazing, the scenery is magnificent.. Just amazing. So many great places to look at. Thanks so much for sharing all the time. From the other side of the planet, it's very much appreciated. What I wouldn't give to come visit right now.

Can't seem to escape the smoke , or the heat- Strangely hot for October, 90s. Need one of those motorcycle air conditioners that mounts on the rear seat and pumps cool air into your jacket.

Awhile back, I researched Bagby, always good to go back to these spots to check them out.

This is how Lake McClure is supposed to look. Lots of water, green.

Adjacent Bagby campground.
The thought occurred when there's no smoke, and the reservoir is full in spring, this would be a cool place to camp, pull your boat right up to your campsite & float up the canyon.

You can't just ride into Yosemite NP anymore, or go over the pass- Highway 120 Tioga Pass. In Covid times, you have to have reservations made months in advance.

Today's Goals: Ride the Cherry Lake Loop, haven't ridden this is almost 15 years and been years since I've included it in a motorcycle tour route. Cherry Lake Loop is a 55 mile loop deep in the Sierra Range, built back in the resevoir building days of the 1950s & 1960s. Nothing out here, no people, no towns, no traffic, no cross roads, nothing but forest.
