Thats soooo sweet. I want that setup. Macintosh said he could do the 300 tire swing arms as well. Wish i had his website i lost it. The avon website does not have any info on the 300 tire kit that i can find.

To remove the swing arm just use a large socket with breaker bar to remove nut then make this custom tool using a bolt and nut welded together to unscrew or "walk" the swing arm axal out using a socket wrench.

HOW DOES SHE RIDE? CAN YOU HIT THE TWISTIES PRETTY WELL? THAT TIRE LOOKS NASTY, I LIKE IT.

Keep the pics coming

What are you doing with the suspension, air ride??

If you want loud you could do an exhaust similiar Thrasherfox's. It would solve your exhaust routing problems, but it is loud.

Here is the bike in its stock configuration at the shore in Connecticut. The rear 190 tire is cute, just like a real tire only smaller... LOL
We dont have the huge set up running yet as we had to get Lowering link bars cause the swing arm was designed to use them and without them the shock couldnt be installed. The swing arm is able to use an air ride system if i decide to get one in the future.

This is the 300 Avon next to a Ram 1500 truck tire. it is about 1.1/2" wider on each side!!! its just a monster....

Man that is just SICK

Keep the pics coming. I have wanted to see a step by step thread like this for a while. And definitely would love to hear how she rides and handles once you have completed it. Great work so far. This maybe the big Christmas gift i get myself this year. Thanks for the great posts.

To lower the front get a topp tree with the holes so the forks will go up through it . Or you can keep the stock look by getting a gen-mar riser or some of reapers risers . Just do a search on lowering the front . That looks pretty good!!

Thanks for the ideas on how to lower the front. i will wait and see how she looks after everthing is completed and if it needs to be lowered we will get 'er done.
Not much work got done tonight as it took us three hours to figure exactly where and how to mount the reflectors.

...Just kiddin! LOL, No reflectors on this set up. We got the chains on as straight as possible. The axal spacers will still need to be milled another .060" and re-installed tommorow. This will allow the brake caliper to ride perfectly centered on the disk.

Any ideas on what you guys are going to do with the exhaust? The meg thing looks like poop to me, There was a bike for sale here with a 240 kit with the Yosh TRS Carbon kit on it, looked good to me,here it is...What do you think about this?

post_3_64085_03_hayabusa_008.jpg

ive got an akrapovic carbon muffler that i might have a local speed shop add a pipe to or else keep the stock mufflers and just work the pipes around the wide swing arm.. not sure yet. i will bring the bike to the shop Saturday and see what the header builders recommend. tommorow im chopping the tail to get it to fit as closely as possible to the tire so it will look like the the tire was just stuffed up in there!
( Ahhhh the warm shoreline at sunset... sweet!)
