Is it just the angle in this pic, or is the 330 offset to the right in the frame? I was under the impression that all fat tires that use a jack shaft were centered. Or maybe it's just the tail section in the pic. Wheel looks lined up with the air cylnder and gas tank..tail section looks offset?
I measured the distance from the swing arm to the wheel on both sides and on the left theres 1 1/2" of space, on the right there 1". Not sure why? The tire looks as if it goes over any more to the left the sprocket will hit. I will call the manufacturer tomorrow and see what they say.
i installed lowering links and the mid setting is perfect! with the air ride at its lowest the tire comes about 1/2" from the shaved under tail section! looks like the huge tire is just STUFFED under there!!
I built my own side license plate marker and put tube type lighting on it. looks ok. couldn't put it on the tail as theres no room. Pushed the rear foot pegs/muffler brackets out an inch. The bike is getting stock mufflers installed 2" outwards in the morning then its ready to ride.
the roaring toyz 4-2-1 exhaust wont be ready for 4 to 6 weeks and here in CT summer will be almost gone by then
pictures tomorrow.
also i noticed that the center "seam", thats the thin line around the center of the tire from the original rubber mold in the fat tire, is not centered. its off by about 5/8" . this may cause a slight optical illusion a bit but the tire is still off a 1/2"
Jamie and all guys at Miller Race cars did a great job on kicking the mufflers out about 2 1/2" on each side!! sweet welds and nice stainless steel work.
i will polish the welds out later. the stainless should look sweet when im done with it.
