330 kit-no jackshaft-1 chain

Hopefully he was talking about fat women. But that's something I wouldn't know anything about!

:rofl:I knew that would get a responce. I know a fatty is not a speedster in the twisties but they can still do corners...switchbacks are more of a challeng. No reason to hate about bigtires being cruisers. This post was about a new engineering for the big 330 being jackshaftless and right away post come out about being posers and cruisers:devil:

engineering for offset sprockets and similar mounted chains is YEARS old in dragbikes...

problem that will arise is that if anyne puts real power through the output shaft...it can twist, especially with the resistance of a larger contact patch and the additional rotational weigh that will need to be moved. For this to be done properly (IMHO) their should be a HD output shaft used. Longer the shaft is...the more prone to failure.

I keep hearing of a local busa with supposedly 500+ hp and a 330 mm rear tire....I keep telling guys that its either b/s or the guy has never used it...(this is an example of one of the many possible and very likely problems)

That's why I say it would require an "outboard support plate with a bearing" on the end of the shaft. It would have to tie into the motorcase.

Here is what Kosman uses...
