ahh, no. We did have some proper spotted d*ick at a place on one of the last trips out but it was a nice little hotel / B&B place in the country. I'm afraid in London you would actually get what most people think you are talking about when you mention the dish.
I did have some rather yummy Indian food last night. I paid the price for it this morning
but it was as good as I had had here in a while. We had lunch at an area "cafe" today, gotta say there were a *LOT* of pensioners in there and while the food was OK it was not worth repeating. The places in the city can be very yummy but I have found getting into the countryside and finding a place that is highly regarded by locals is the best.
