Sure, it's 40 degrees, wind chill 33, but the sun was shinning, birds a chirping, the lemmings were working, I went riding! just outside of town around the usual nearest twistie and 2 mile strait... which is used alot by large trucks during the day I find out [!#@$%!]. Oh well, warmed up my Busa Baby, and cleaned out the carbs running wide open here and there.

Rode hard.... put away... that's all just put away until the next sunny 30+ degree day!
PS Bullet, I'm getting some of that Zaino stuff ASAP :D

yes, but mechanically I'm a moron so it all makes sense in my lil world. :D

man I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wanted to ride today but I have to work all day and its damn near dark at 5pm now...it blows...If I can I usually just eat a sammich and ride over my lunch hour!! We'll have to get together sometime next spring and ride sometime!!!!

certainly will do fstbusa! I got out early for some evening work I had to do and snuck in my ride!! I also have two pocketbikes if you ever wanna try one at the Marshalltown kart track. It's alot of fun but more dangerous than REAL bikes.

Light: DAYLIGHT-RIPOFF is more like it. No wonder the country suffers from S.A.D. living in the dark like this!

Ability-wise, I'm no knee dragger but I enjoy getting on it when the time seems right. I been riding for only 4 years but have about 40k miles now. I'll ride with anybody so I'll definitely ride with you. ;) I have a buddy that goes with on a '03 KAW 636, he's new as of last year but seems very safe and able. Also, I'm planning a few track days next year if you are interested in that. If you're a track noob [like me] you can get a TOTALLY FREE session x2, by signing up at nesba.com - track day makes you realize what you REALLY love about your motorcycle! I'll never 'race' but it was an experience that I NEEED again.

Anyway, yeah we'l hook up. Always love seeing other busas infront/behind me. I followed a busa guy doing 130mph standup wheelie for about a half mile. Amazing. I NEVER do things like that though, just so you know. :)

yeah I've never raced a bike at the track before...I've spent the last few summers on friday nights at cedar falls raceway running my chevelle in the test n tunes. It was a blast!!! even only going through the traps at 90mph. Can't wait to get the busa out there and do a 130+mph pass!!!!

you mean strait line 130? hehehhhe I got 160+ in the strait at MAM track. ya won't be passing me! :) sign up at nesba.com for the free sessions - road course - you would LOVE it. You get to LEAN a LOT! hahhhaa.... and ooooh that strait.... NEVER have I been able to open the busa like I did at that track. Never. This bike does TWICE what we can do on the street... and yawns about it.

Hey, if you guys make it over to MAM let me know. I've been meaning to get in on one of the NESBA days over there. I still need to get some leathers though. I have some buddies of mine that ride in DesMoines and I make it over there at least a few times a year. Always good to hook up with other riders.

Sweet! I'm 6'1" and will have a spare set of really lame leathers if you wanna borrow them. For first timers, you just need boots, gloves, helmet and jacket NOT pants. But if you really wanna feel safe [track OR road] get some pants or borrow mine for the day. Next season will rock... I feel a vibe. A buddy of mine with two stroke 250's and 350's is coming out too :)
