Preface: I'm just messing with you. Thanks Mikey. Not enough lean might cause a lot of wrecks but it wouldn't have been the case for me today. I used all the tire I had. Only thing more lean would have done would have been to cause hard stuff to drag. I didn't figure that'd help my feelings or my situation much at all.Good job keeping the rubberside down!
A friend who reads more bike mags than I do (probably more than we all do! ) said that the majority of folks wrecking from going too wide are directly attributable to not leaning enough. Pretty scary on an off camber turn.
Glad to know your bling is still blinging!
I'm glad she's still blingin' too. I'd really hate to scuff the 'Train!
Not near as glad as I am!glad you kept it on the wheels.
Yeah, I think you must have jinxed me, dude.See...Everybody thought I was kiddin' when I showed BT's bike with all of the mud on it.Only damage was about three years off of my life and a little mud slung up on da 'Train. Could have been MUUUUUUCH worse!
Don't worry BT, I'm sure it's nothing a little Zaino won't take care of.
Hey Playa (PureEnergy) your Pimpn BT's avatar . Those are sum big shoe to fill pimp .
I'll have to report this I.D. theft to the proper authorities soon
Yeah, the off camber and the roll off have to be what sent me off road. I'm going to practice in that corner now until I get it down.Man...I felt like I was on that bike with you. Thank god your ok. I do agree with you about adding a little throttle to get you out of trouble, but that is what I have read. It seems like it would get you into more trouble. Anyway, chuck it up as experience. It is bound to happen again and you will be prepared.
Thanks FLCN. I like your quote there. Alive and well goes a long way... Hehehehehe... Ain't that the truth!Good save, BT. Alive and well goes a long way. Nicely written story, too. Felt like I was there.
I'll try to get some shots. I'm busy today doing all the stuff I put off so I could ride yesterday, PLUS what I already needed to do today. Still glad I rode yesterday though. Planning on riding again tomorrow as well. The weather this weekend is KILLER so far!!!Preface: I'm just messing with you. Thanks Mikey. Come on Train! Put your pixels where your mouth is. Post some shots of those chicken strips!
We want to see the left side of BOTH tires!
Thanks tbone. I've never written for a living. Well, actually I write a TON of stuff at work but it's not exactly literature. Thanks for the kind words.you are very good at conveying your thoughts to words....do you/did you ever write for a living?? just curious, but glad you pulled off the save. I can't think of anyone else on this board who would have been more pissed if their bike got dropped and uglied up!
Thanks bug.Train, glad to here your ok!
