Do you believe that there is evil on the Earth?
A buddy of mine had a near death experience. He was actually dead on the operating table while he had heart surgery. He described many things in the room (viewed from above his body), he also traveled to a town he had never been to before.
The "facts" of his experience were later confirmed by a University that did a study on him. The experience was very positive overall. Most people that go through this are changed forever.
Shortly after he was working at a liquor store and was heldup at gunpoint, he told the robber "you cant have the money, and I have been dead before and have no fear of it"
That seems foolish to me but, he didnt have a deathwish,but,his outlook on death was very different. Other than that as normal a guy as you would ever meet.

It is a question that we will all get the answer to at some point. I hope not too soon. But I would like to believe that after we are gone, we (our "souls") are still connected to our loved ones and that we can watch over them. It provides comfort to me knowing that family members and friends who have passed on to the next phase are able to keep tabs on us fleshy people. This will sound strange, but once in a while I will get a whiff of my GrandMa's perfume from outta no where or I will hear my Grandfather call my name. May we all be at peace when THE time comes.

It is a question that we will all get the answer to at some point. I hope not too soon. But I would like to believe that after we are gone, we (our "souls") are still connected to our loved ones and that we can watch over them. It provides comfort to me knowing that family members and friends who have passed on to the next phase are able to keep tabs on us fleshy people. This is a guy that I would seriously like to give a beating to. But then again, cant really blame him if people are really that dumb enough to believ him!
Yeah, there are a few of them out there. I don't really believe that they can get "messages". They have their tricks. I like to believe it is more personal. That sylvia Brown, is a hoot!!!! Great for when your in the mood to yell at your TV or something.

I hope I am one of the fortunate ones that get to see the light.
Some people say that when you go to Heaven, that you will be in such a great place, that you won't worry about seeing your loved ones anymore, but I think differently. I think (atleast I HOPE) that I will want to be with my loved ones in Heaven AND get to watch over my loved ones that are left here on earth.
There are those that believe the world and humanity just appeared one day out of no where, but I believe that God created the world and everything in it.

I look at it this way. Before I knew that I existed, I certainly wasnt missing anything. So when I'm dead, it will just be back to the same thing again. Simple.
In all honesty, I think you have to be out of your mind to actually believe there is this place waiting for you called "Heaven"

fwiw... the current estimate is 100 billion solar systems with planets in our galaxy alone.. (close as we can tell with current technology) so "Trillions of planets"it's also annoying that there are millions of planets out there and we are stuck on this one,. luckily we have bikes

So you can't get in if you think outside the box? Is it only Christians that get in to Heaven? or are their seperate but equal Heavens for those of other Religons? Muslim Heaven, Buddist Heaven, Sunni Heaven?
naw I think we all have a built in barometer that tells us right from wrong.. If what you say is so, I would change religions, go blow myself to kingdom come and have how many virgins? (I really dislike organize religion of any kind personally) but I know there is something on the other side.. (another story)
