Accident #3

I took off from school today for my wife's 40th birthday and figured I'd tie up some loose ends. I got the personall effects out of the Caddy and the Malibu.

If you haven't been following along, someone pulled a lefe turn in front of my daughter and totalled the 81 Malibu she'd been driving. Jessie is OK, she is going to physical therapy and they just gave her a 4 channel TENS unit today. (Electrical muscle zapper)

This car had 60k miles on it (just barley broken in!) and I had picked it up and driven it back from NY this past summer. It was my Grandadd's car. He just turned 98 this past Feb 20th and was born exactly 80 years earlier (to the day) than my daughter Jessica. We celebrated their 18th and 98th birthday at the Olive Garden a few weeks ago.

Anyway, here are the picts.

Here is the front end. Progressive totalled the car. However they will not pay for a rental until they get the popo report. Meanwhile they want me to release the car from the tow lot to their lot, so it dosen't acrue any more storage charges. I told the lawyer to tell them to piss up a rope and they can have the car when they pay for a rental. Lawyer said that would backfire. Oh well.

Just for S&G here is a shot of the Caddy being manhandled by the loader. They brought the car up to the pad so I could get my dad's stuff out of it.

I brought a pair of bolt cutters to get in the trunk of the Caddy.  They didn't want me to get hurt (How kind of them) so they popped the trunk with the tip of the fork.

Yeah Rev they have. I took Tammy a dz roses and box of Whitmans dark chocolates to her during her class.

There have been no major calamities lately, so all is well in D land.

But, they say everything comes in threes, and you've had your three bad ones-so stock up on the lottery tickets, brother-it's time to cash in!!!!
