After 50k its finally giving me issues

Thanks for that info Dennis, I’ve always wondered if aftermarket fuel filters reduce flow rates to the extent that the pressure would drop, and I would say it’s a good idea to ALWAYS test fuel pressure when fitting any aftermarket filter inline to the fuel system.
The pressure was high. Fortunately he is running a Fueltech so we just adjusted the map easily. I don't know how the regulator is plumbed, before or after the filter, so while it could be the filter causing restriction, it might just be that the regulator is set wrong.

So the way I was to understand it is in 2013 they changed the fuel pump and it was too make the regulator replaceable which was supposed to act as the filter because they used to be a permanent part of the white piece your talking about. But that's just internet research so of in wrong I'll definitely look into getting the oem regulator which comes with that piece your talking about
The assembly is different for sure. The outlet points the other direction, so you unhook the fuel line on the right side of the tank vs. the left for earlier Gen2's. Not sure if the filter is actually different or not. A gen1 regulator would be replaceable. Not sure if the Gen2 is or not. Supposedly you can run the Gen1 filter on the Gen2 bikes. We were going to mess with that but ended up just using an aftermarket Gen2 filter.
