The citizens are posting videos of the location and the persons setting it in fire. More than one of these being posted.

Started this afternoon in Trabuco Canyon and over 1,000 acres now,seeing flames about 2 miles from the house on top of the ridge.:shocked:

Hi. Also we had a very light snow and was cold here last night. So I am sure it was Trump's fault. I know he had somrthing to do with it.
California fires were here way before Trump.

Lots of conjecture and finger pointing going on in the face of a major disaster.....
Anyone who's ever seen a wildfire gain momentum knows that these things are incredibly destructive ad next to impossible to put out even with a strong robust fire service and unlimited water.
Maybe forest management might have reduced it somewhat but the combination of arson, dry conditions and strong winds make it a real challenge.
I feel for all the people who lost loved ones, their homes and possessions.....
I think the time for all the squabbling amongst the political powers should be put on hold so they can focus on the task at hand.

Any idea what this car is/was? Assuming the doors were on it before the fire, were they fiberglass or aluminum? The deck lid and hood and roof also gone? Looks odd.

I lived in SoCal for 6 years. It is very very normal to not have rain. So much so they write songs about it. It's part of why people lived there.
We had fires EVERY year. We had Santa Ana's EVERY year. And EVERY year they were prepared. Vegetation management was done. Water in the lower reservoirs was ALWAYS there.
Regardless, it's a sad thing to see these people lose everything.....
Does this exact same area get annual wildfires of this magnitude?
If so, an investigation will most likely be forthcoming and heads will roll....
As usual.....there is a lot of conjecture by authorities before an investigation is launched and findings are shown...
Those water resivors are mainly filled by melting snow run-off from further north in the state...the same flow Newsom has been routing directly into the ocean instead for years now...
Population control, Smart Cities, and restructuring of areas in general.
Not that the governments would ever 'help' natural disasters for their own future plans...that's just conspiracy nonsense.
I've found it hard to find any unbiased information on this...
Everything I've looked at caters to each side of the situation....what we need is a good, strong, unbiased journalist like we used to have.
