Now, that's my kind of riding!

Congrats and best wishes for millions more!

In our terms that's 160 000 kms. I wonder how many people actually keep their bikes for even half that milage,
My 03 has 46000 kms and I very nearly sold it this past December for a Boulevard, but I am so glad I kept it as I had a 1200km run last week end and the only thing that could be better would be an 08. One section of the trip one can run between 8 /8500 rpm for over 100kms. Busa rules and I also look forward to reaching that milesstone, but on the same motor !!

The one on it now has 28000 and I tore it down to check it out even though compression numbers were still very good. It's an '05 enginerod bearings looked new (replaced them anyway) One of the crank bearings was shiny ( I replaced all of them  )and checked the crank for scouring- it was good. I put new rings back  in it and new valve stem seals in the head (valves looked good) a little build up from oxygenated fuel (cleaned up) and replaced the shift forks ( normal wear) no shifting problems. Replaced the cam chain and checked cam timing and valve clearances - ALL GOOD, back together and ready to ride.
thats awsome!! bike looks great as well!(I used to have one same year & color)my favorite year/color combo

Ok you are exactly backwards for this board. You have 100,000 miles on the busa and 63 post, some people have 100,000 post and 63 miles on the busa. Congrats on the feat. That is just amazing.

I actually have been registered here since June of 2002. I use to be on SuzukiHayabusa.Org a lot but like to meet new people and thought I'd get to met some of you at Deals Gap.

100,000 miles! That's awesome! There's a guy on Easyriders ZX-12R forum that has 114,000 miles on his 12. These modern sportbikes motors last just as long as car engines if they are maintained properly.
Congrats on the high mileage. That's something to be proud of and to brag about.

I know of a guy that has 121000 on a '98 ZX11. It has the stock exhaust and looks practically new, he's rode it to Myrtle Beach bike Week and Daytona Bike Week every year since 1998. Needless to say we've BOTH logged a few miles together.
