thats awsome!! bike looks great as well!(I used to have one same year & color)my favorite year/color comboThe one on it now has 28000 and I tore it down to check it out even though compression numbers were still very good. It's an '05 enginerod bearings looked new (replaced them anyway) One of the crank bearings was shiny ( I replaced all of them )and checked the crank for scouring- it was good. I put new rings back in it and new valve stem seals in the head (valves looked good) a little build up from oxygenated fuel (cleaned up) and replaced the shift forks ( normal wear) no shifting problems. Replaced the cam chain and checked cam timing and valve clearances - ALL GOOD, back together and ready to ride.
I actually have been registered here since June of 2002. I use to be on SuzukiHayabusa.Org a lot but like to meet new people and thought I'd get to met some of you at Deals Gap.Ok you are exactly backwards for this board. You have 100,000 miles on the busa and 63 post, some people have 100,000 post and 63 miles on the busa. Congrats on the feat. That is just amazing.
