Alright, enough of the Blue, Orange & White. Post ur SILVERS!!!!

Hey Tim, Thanks.

Got back from the Gragon Sunday evening, had a ball. I don't know if I'll be able to ride around here anymore after experien cing those awesome roads. Was going up to the hotel where the Busa guys were on Saturday but we got washed out on our ride and spent 2 hours creeping down the mountains on Saturday night. Got to the hotel and went straight to the shower and bed!

WoW! Those are my two favorite bikes:bowdown:

Can you give us a little comparison of the two?

Hmmm, I alternate between these 2 and my VFR800 daily and I have to say that they are all fantastic bikes, but each has it's special strength.
The Busa is just undeniably stupidly powerful, and therein lies a lot of it's appeal for me, but with some of the suspension and brake tweaks I have done recently, I am now amazed at how effortlessly she handles. Think Dodge Viper.
The Blackbird is noticeably less quick, but it feels to me like a precision instrument. Whether working on it or riding it, everything is exact. Think Audi R8.
(The VFR800 just does everything well, it's quick, comfortable and in the right hands would probably out-corner the other 2. Think Golf GTI.)

Parts - There are a ton of parts available for the busa and a good amount more when you consider that a LOT of the other GSXR parts are interchangeable. The Blackbird is another story, there are not near as many parts available and it grows less every day. :(
Looks - Love your Busa all you want (I do) but I think the Blackbird is still a sleeker, prettier bike. Of course my flame and chrome busa draws far more attention than my understated XX.
Comfort - Neither Busa or Blackbird can match the VFR here, but the Busa surprises me in that it is at least as comfortable as the Blackbird (and I have VFR risers on my Blackbird)
Reliability & Longevity - I have heard that the busa's powerplant is bulletproof, but I have heard of more Blackbirds with very high troublefree milage. If you look after them, I figure they will both last longer than smaller bikes.

If I could only keep one then I would be hard pressed to decide. It would defiitely be between the Busa & the XX. I'll cycle through other bikes, but I figure I'll keep those 2 for a long time.
(Now ask me how they compare to the 2010 Hyosung GT250R I just bought )

Ok, Ok, I'll be more subtle:

Someone give me a match. there is a bike to be burned!
How dare you!

And no before someone gets smart "not going to point any names" Its not the busa to be burned!
