When I put it together it will down shift but won't up shift. Am I missing something?

Yep it's a crack. It doesn't go into the transition part it stops just short of it. I was thinking JB weld to fill the crack?

Does it up and down shift with just the drum ? Remember to spin the countershaft sprocket a bit each way when shifting the bike not running
