Reagan was the Best President that we EVER HAD !!!!!

I personally wouldn't go that far...

Let's not forget Reganomics, the Iran-Contra affair, the nuclear arms issues of the Cold War, or the fact that Regan's administration personally bankrolled a little known man at the time by the name of Osama bin Laden.

This is still a good country, we just have to remember who we are and stand up for ourselves as the populous. The people still could run this country, we simply allow the government to do what we should be doing instead.

As for the best president? I think you may need to go back a little farther. Think Eisenhower, or further back to Rosevelt, or possibly even Lincoln.

Best President

! Why, because he ate well and (as far as I know) DID NOTHING

We the people? Who are we now! Most folk are just here for the hand outs. Three generations later and they still say back home! When the rest of us working class that do pay taxes, get tired of it who will take over? We have the shuttle and can still grow more food than most! thats it. We can't even conduct a war rite anymore.

The fall of communism was written on the walls years before Mr. Regan ever took office, and so with it the end of the cold war. You could equate it to the dot com boom. Clinton had nothing to do with that, but he got the credit for it.

Not saying Regan was a bad president. He was clearly charismatic, and made some good decisions, but he was by no means flawless.

Let's not forget Reganomics[/Quote]

You of course are referring to the largest peacetime economic expansion in American history in a good way, right?
With said expansion funding the largest peacetime military expansion that bankrupted the Soviet Union and forced its demise right?
Of course you are.

(4wd @ Aug. 10 2007,05:43) The Suzuki Hayabusa has been out in the American marketplace for what---9 years??? And the only competition is from other Japanese m/c companies specifically Kawasaki.

Why hasn't any American company or bike shop stepped up and made something better with more features and benefits?

Looks to me as though America has totally lost the sport bike market to the same folks we once tried to vaporize.
Becuase the American companies can't....and if they tried the bike would be too expensive to sell.

at least you can still make and find uses the best weapons in the world

thats the important thing to remember

Nice.

No, I was refering to the economic "expansion" that collasped thousands of businesses including my father's.

As for the "demise" of the soviet union. It did not collapse under our weight, but it's own.

But I really can't argue that with you. I could if you wanted me too, but I would need a little time.

Good retort either way.
