I just use it as it is........One day some of you will be walking around with bricks in your pockets. Why push the processor? It sucks out battery life and makes the processor run hot........In addition, now you have no warranty.

My warranty comes back when I unroot it and they cant tell ;)

Because you can flash a low voltage kernel with on demand overclocking, so it will pull the speed back when the phone gets hot, low battery, screen off, etc. Besides, stock sucks ;)

This is not necessarily true when talking about the Droid 1's processor. :rulez:

Running Cyanogen mod 6.1 RC4 right now at 1.1 ghz with the ChevyNo1 kernal. Loving the extra features with this ROM.

The Droid 1 is starting to show its age though. Im due for an upgrade but waiting for something truly better to come out. Such as a rumored dual core Tegra 2 phone or similar. I hear Motorola and LG both have one it the works. All though if motorola keeps their E-fuse tech so we can't put custom ROM's on it my next phone won't be a moto.

Hoping for a new google experience Nexus phone (not the Nexus S)

True it does hit the battery a little bit. But not near as much as all the bloat garbage that is on your phone if it is stock. The froyo they give you for your phone is a joke. I bet my phone over clocked to 1.25 gigs will have better bat life then yours stock.....I know this for a fact. I have 3 droids as i have 3 lines with verizon and the 2 stock ones dont last as long as mine. The roms we design for these phones and the kernels we put on them are way more effective and run way smoother then anything you will get from verizon or google. That is because they cant make any money from sponsors without putting all that crap on your phone and fixing it so you cant shut it off. As long as those programs are running google, facebook, twitter, bing, whatever is on it is learning about your habbits net usage etc. Your friends you name it.

i will soon get tapatalk. I have the version for the droid forums and like it just being cheap:) if anyone wants to add me to thier contacts pm me. gtalk works awesome!!!
