Dont buy a new one. Let the first owner take the depreciation hit. I bought mine in 04. It was a 2004 with the luxury package and 4k miles. New it would have gone for well over 50 grand. I paid 32 for it.

very true. i knew a guy that bought a bmw 850 brand new for 90k and 1 yr. later all he got was 60k for it.

ya really. he's a millionaire (was i should say) so he didnt care. paid cash in the first place. he inherited all his money so didnt spend very wisely.

the last i heard he is NOW building park benches for the city

I drove them for over 20 years while I was in the Corps and can tell you they are crap. Ive been in snow , sand , dirt , mud , urban and forest in them. They are resilient though , the can take a lot of damage and keep going. So if your looking to survive a fire fight then an up armor HMMWV is for you.
