Anyone notice

Yo PAC!! Don’t be too hard on yourself.. ok, be a little hard.. we all learn from our mistakes.

Not to be critical.. And I wouldn’t say this if I didn’t feel confidant that it will all be ok in time.. I do however feel confidant that you will heal, we will all chip in and get your bike back on the road and you will be riding again.. just a matter of time.

Ok, with that said. Leathers… where were your leathers!!!! I hope that once you heal one of the first things on your list is a good set of leathers..

And I hope all the people that visit this board sees your pictures and it puts them into a reality check as to making sure all riders wear proper gear. Jacket, gloves etc.

People have no fricken clue to what it is like to hit the pavement and not have a good set of riding gear protecting your hide.

So please Pac.. tell me you are now a believer and you will be wearing leathers from now on.

Dude that soo looks like it hurts real bad, I have had road rash before, but nothing like what you have, I wish for a speedy recovery for you. And will keep you in my prayers.

Ok, enough of the chastising…

So far I think the only thing I have that I can donate is my original stock windscreen. Brand new, I had the dealer put my Zero gravity on before I ever drove it off the lot, so this windscreen is stock and has never had an ounce of wind against it.

Let me know if and when you want it and you can email me your shipping address and I will ship it to you.

You might ask Mikey D if he still has those cans that he had on his bike before I ran into him. I think someone sent him two stock cans in mint condition, but his old stock cans might be in better shape than the ones on your bike if you wrecked them.

That cracked frame sounds like that could be a pain..

I will look around and see what else I can chip in. when you get up to it, make that parts list.

Another thing we can all do is once PAC gets his parts list, if we don’t have the stuff laying around ourselves, maybe we can all print out the list and we can each go to our local motorcycle salvage yard and see what we can pick up on the list.

That is what I will do anyway PAC, make a list and I will see what I can pickup at a salvage yard if I don’t have it laying around.

Oh yeah, and PAC!! Don’t forget…. Got to http://www.newenough.com/

And check out their street gear, I went to their closeout section and picked up a pair of HJC leather pants for $189.00 normally like $389.00 so you should be able to put together pants and jacket for a reasonable price.

They have two different style leather jackets currently as low as $119.00 in their closeout section

I have a pair of Joe Rocket gloves already that I wear, but I plan on getting these gloves.

Hang in there Pac….. If there is anything you think I can do for you let me know…

Pac is not the squiddleyest!

Maybe it should be the Pac-abrade-r?

Sorry I couldn't resist.

Mikey

Hope you are getting better Pac! I've been down before, it sux and trust me I always ride with gear now, though not with the riding pants as much as I should

Keep us informed on your progress and what parts you need. I have my full stock exhuast system, one little scratch on the right can, hardly noticable. Its yours if you want it.

We might have to put together another 'busa fund (After the Capn's of course!!!). We can call it the:

"Get Pacman Back in the Game" fund.

Glad you posted all the pics...........I'm sure you're saving lots of peoples hides..........even though you gave up yours!!!

(you know.....I think Vabusa really does want a pic of your backside!!!

Hey Pac, how's things? Hope you are healing well

Thinking of you, man

Just droppin by to check in again...thanks again for all the love, people. Da PAC is beyond grateful...he's quite speechless.

I'll put up a topic next week with pics of the bike damage. Be warned, though, it's going ta be ugly.
sad.gif
I'll also post up two more shots of my body damage, so please be warned on that one as well.

For all those wishing me a speedy recovery, thanks so much. I'm sure that the Big Man upstairs already has a reward waiting for you. May you all be blessed.

Next two posts are pics of some more body damage. I just thought I'd give you fair warning. I don't want anyone to be offended...I just want to let you peeps know what can happen when there's no gear involved.

Stay safe people...

Here's three days after the crash. Remember: this was caused by kickin off the bike at about 70 - 80mph with no gear except for a helmet.

The jeans did nothing to save my hide.

And now the infamous "BUTT SHOT". Rev...if you read this one, just let me know if you want me to remove it.

I know it seems kinda cheeky (pun intended) to be puttin this up, but I feel no shame in showing you this. I don't consider it distasteful nudity...I think of it as a one big azz REALITY CHECK.

Scotty, you asked me to fill you in on the jeans, so here it is, bro. They can't and won't do SQUAT for you in case of a get-off. I'm glad you continue to keep your lid on, though. Now all we need to do is get you into a little more gear.

Get this, folks: my a$$ is still hurtin and not completely healed...even after almost three weeks.

If you dig serious pain, I mean the kinda pain that wakes you up in the middle of the night and only lets you get sleep one dose of painkillers at a time, then by all means: ditch the gear. I know one thing: When I get back in the saddle, it'll be with full gear; and what's good for me has ta be good fer the wife, so she'll be suited up like she's ready to race at the track as well, even though she's going to be riding as a passenger.

Learn from my pain, folks. I'll tell you this much: I learned a whole new definition about the word "PAIN".

So there you have it, folks: Pain re-defined.

Stay safe and ride on, guys and gals. We all know the risk we assume when we throw a leg over the saddle, so it only makes sense to prepare for the worst.

A jacket, gloves and proper pants would have cut down the severity of these injuries by at least 85-90%.

I'll be the squid for today. Class dismissed.
