Anyone notice

Moved this too Accident/Crash Forum...

Hard to look at some of these images but it's an important reminder to get our gear on, all the time...

Asphalt doesn't care how big and bad you are...   it'll whoop your ass...

PAC, Bro...  It would be real cool if you could post up some follow-up pics...  NO NOT YOUR Burnt Boot...  But Some Forearm  shots would be a good thing...

Rev.
Aww...no big and burnt BOO-TAYY?!? Shucks, Rev...

Hehe...definitely sounds good. I'll whip up a digital and post. Thanks for the move, bro. And I definitely hope it helps more people understand the benefits of gear.

Ouch Pac! That does hurt. I've had some road rash before, but never that bad. I hope the psychi gets better soon. I've been riding with Timax and Firstgear clothing for w ahile now. I'll be getting Tekin Kangaroo leathers this Spring. The Firtsgear and Timax are decent for rain (and we get enough in Washington state), but full leathers are the only way to go on dry asphault.

Get well soon.

Listen up, it's time for everyone on this board to take notice of all the good advice here and start wearing real protective gear every time you ride. Motorcycles WILL fall over sooner or later, and the road IS hard and it DOES hurt. Just rub your knuckles on the asphalt if you don't believe me. I've taken a Nantucket Sleighride at 60mph in full leathers and walked away to tell the tale with no scars. If all you're doing is sliding, there's no excuse for gravel rash.

I enjoy talking to you guys, and I'd like you to all be around for as long as possible. Please, do me a favor and wear all the gear all the time, and always assume that today's the day...

Hey Pac, dont know ya, but I hope you get well soon. When I had my accident, they rubbed a cocain topical on my wounds, couldn't feel a thing. You might want to make a special request.
