Reading another forum I belong to and it appears the ZX-14 is having some frame breakage issues.

Might want to check yours if you own one.

My Kawasaki 4 wheeler kept braking its exhaust bracket. I would weld it and it would break some where else. Did this 3 times before I just took it off and used baling wire. Maybe thats what Kawasaki needs to do to these frames....use baling wire.

If the guy wouldn't be launching the thing off ramps like the kid on Bike Boys, prolly wouldn't have snapped!

Ya just NEVER know

what will happen to your equipment just by testing it at the Factory. Only the public can find ways to miss use it

in a way that it will fail. The 14 is a good bike, and "OLE" Kawi will fix it in no time. Nothing a little liquid weld and cross bracing want fix

Yep, not the first time we have heard this!
OH shoot. Didn't know.

Sorry.

Funny how everyone except aspiring ZX-14 owners know about this. I wonder if they know and just hope it won't happen to them.

I wonder with all the HP Kawasaki added for '08, did they remember to do anything about their frames.

Glad I didn't buy that 14 I was lookin at this last summer

They will take care of it I'm sure but at a cost huh?

Just like the surging issue with the Yamaha FJR. Yamaha said nothing wrong that they new. 25 pages of issues from FJR Forum with the same problems being posted and..vola..recall on the ECU. Runs better than ever now. $352.00 per bike.

I called my dealer and told them there was a recall and to order me one. They did'nt get the factory notifacation until the next day.

Don't ever think these forums are taken lightly by any manufacture. Not here or anywhere else.

All the companies are having similar problems including Suzuki they make all these bikes faster by making them lighter then the frame cant handle the abuse of wheelies and stopie wheelies and coming down hard
