aprilia mille owner; thinking about going with a busa

If you live in Jackson, Miss then why not try the Aprilla Club in Dallas if you need to sell. I think they have one, I know Ducati has at least 3 and maybe 4 clubs. You could call the Aprilla Dealer in Dallas or just hit the net

Nice looking Aprilla. Sort of an exotic in the US.

You're probably on the wrong board to trade (up!) to a Busa. We're all here 'cause we love our bikes. But you will find a lot of like minded friends here when you do get your Busa!

oh its going to happen! got smoked by my buddy's 08 busa a few times tonight. it just put a smile on my face about my future bike. hah.

First off,, :welcome:

But here is a couple of questions, what kind of riding do you do?

Is it straight line mostly, or do like twisties, Im not tring to talk you out of it but, you have one hell of a scoot there!
My buddy had one, and when i rode it, i never wanted to give it back!
A Busa i s head rush that you cant ever get out of your system!
With that said, i would never talk anyone out of buying a busa, by no means!
I would on the other hand tell you to find a way to keep the Mille, and get the Busa, thus you would have the best of both worlds!

i gave $5200 for it not 2000 miles ago. i love it to death, but i mainly use it for commuting and straight line riding - not exactly what its intended for. i'm trying my best to talk my way into two bikes, but i'm not having a whole lot of luck with that at the moment. maybe after tax season she will be a little more willing to let me have more toys. wish me luck on that one!

here are a couple pictures i took with my iphone last night. we had my bike apart last night raising the front a bit. that helped a bit with the riding position and pressure on my wrists.

You need to get that Mille, into the Mountains somewhere!
And ride it!

Tell Ya, I've though about your thread. If I could get Parts for the Aprillia I would be interested. But, out here, APRILIA parts are impossible to get ! Just have a great time with it, and Enjoy :beerchug:

af1racing have had everything i have ever needed for it. however, i'm with you. without any competitors out there, their prices are a bit more than i prefer to pay. they make up for it in service and support though.
