Thinking of a Busa

I've been lost in bike shops fror years trying to find my 'ideal' partner, had R1, Duke 996, blade...etc etc, always fancying a busa but never making the move, I guess the look of it put me off. But i bit the bullet and I've just bought a new one and boy oh boy what a bike...feels like finding an old friend...Having just come from a rather twitchy and dissapointing ZX12R, the busa IS the best bike for your buck out their, comfy, fast, fun......Viva La BUSA!!!

Bailed out of the cruisers when I bought an 03 wing. Became addicted to the speed and maneuvering through the twisties. Got a Kaw z1000 which is great and light for the twisties but does not cut it for getting TO the good roads. Decided I need to have a machine that can tour reasonably well and be a hooligan when I get there. Looks like the Busa may be the ticket for me. ZZR1200 good bike but not FI, plus a little heavier than I'd like. ZX12R doesn't seem to have all the advantages of the Busa; i.e., little better fuel economy. Not sure how the Busa stacks up for wind protection, but really liking the style, looks and the bike feels like it fits me well. Just some thoughts from a new forum member. Looking forward to gaining much information here.
