I carry a Ruger 9mm around with me and left it in a rental car one time after a deep sea fishing trip. Talk about a hassle getting it back. Luckily I hadn't killed anyone with that one.

Had the full ballistic test done to it.

I have a Bushmaster patrolman AR-15 and love it. I have not done any mods to it yet but based on rev thread I will probably be adding the EoTech.

Magpul MIAD is perfect, after messing with it for about an hour I found a combination of front and back straps that feels great.

THe Tango Down vertical Grip. Lots of folks swear by them and I think I might be a fan, but I am not certain yet... Grip itself is very sturdy, very solid and fills the hand nice.

I still swear by my SIG226, but the XD45 is priced right and feels great.

If you have a range near you that rents handguns it's a great way to try out the new stuff.

I love the XD45 and will be getting myself one shortly. What surprised me was that the SIG .45 really didn't work at all for me.

I'm also thinking of picking up a SIG 232 in .380. These are slick shooting lil pistols.

well, I just love my Glock .40cal and 10mm...and the 10 has the night sights.....mmmmmmmmmm...

I have thought about the SIG's but havent been sold on them just yet. But the AR-15 or an M4 will be my first rifle deal...

I've got a couple AR's in the A2 NM config for High Power competition. I also hung onto my M1A when I switched to the black gun. Short guns are Glock 21 for comp and 27 for carry.

I still think about the Customs officer at the Buffalo border crossing that asked why I owned so many guns. I told her I believed in self-defense. She asked if I had any with me and I said no. She couldn't understand why not. I told her that this wasn't my frst trip to Canada. Duh!

I got a springfield XD in a 9mm & 45 and love them both. Also got a throw away 45 I carry when ever I need it. Got a Colt M16A2 semi-auto, a Bushmaster M4, MAK-90 sniper set up, 2 AK-47 1 fold stock 1 short stock(Sovit), SKS (chinese), SS Ruger 10/22, Mavrick Assult Mossburg 12ga, Mossburg deer slugger, WIN 30/30, Remington 7mm Altra mag. etc.. etc ...etc

I got these at our annual gun show in July. Next one is in Feb.
I got a brick (1000rd) of Wolf 7.62 x 39 for $95 w/tax. Also got a brick of 5.56 (.223) for $130 w/tax.
Let me know if you need some so in Feb. when I go I see what I can Find.
