AR enthusiasts......What do you think of DPMS lowers?

yeah, I sold the Kimber. Didn't want to but I wanted to get some bills off my concience. Next handgun tho is gonna be a Ruger .357 in stainless with black rubber grip. Then possibly another Kimber 1911. I jus love the 1911 so much but its not a good gun for concealed carry. Thats what the ruger will be for.

Mine was actually complete, and also came with the lower parts kit.

The only issue I had was the carrier, it would not load the next round into the chamber and took some tracking down to figure out what the culprit was.

The aggravating part was, they wanted to blame every part except for the parts they sold me, but once I asked them for a return/exchange option they took care of it quickly with no questions asked so I would give them a thumbs up on that~!~

(Haven't tested the new carrier yet though, and still have the extra carrier installed which works perfectly)
 
Impact arms offer a lot of c and r weapons along with a lot of other stuff. Most dealers have an outlet to get anyhting you want. Most can do it fairly cheap. Gunbroker and auction arms have turned into ebay. Not too many deals to be had there.

I have bought a few C&R from Samco Global Arms.
They always have huge ads in Shotgun News.
I got a $200 Finnish Mauser from them as well as a Persian one.
Samco has everything from forty dollar rifles to thousand dollar Finnish WWII snipers.
Good reliable stuff from a good place.

Mattstang I use the three sites against themselves.
Gunsamerica and Auctionarms are a little less known and cheaper to buy. I then sell on Gunbroker where I find larger buyers go because as you say it is more eBay, but those kind of folks like sights like that.
You can also tell very much about seller simply if he allows his hand to be captured in picture. Helps in the negotiation. I buy cheap on the first two from old timers with pawn shops in La and put it on GB. starting at a penny and usually make good .
Most of the pics you have seen of things I have posted were at some point or another on their way in or out. Anyone who's into boom boom as well as vroom vroom knows that . Guns multiply like rabbits !

AA is a less known and some deals can be had. But It seems everything I look for is either got a huge reserve or everyone and their dog is bidding on it.

Lol at the pawn shop buys. I work all over us and that's where I buy all my guns. lots and lots of good deals to be had in them. Those are my undiscovered gold mines. Lol. Now just need a Nv residncy so I can buy here.

I just love buying old WWII rifles of all makes from all countries from guys who's hands you can see are old. Simply by the pic of the gun and how it's presented you can tell if you can get a decent deal or not. Not all old folks are stupid to say just that some of the ole timers will still take a phone call and a CC over the phone where most on GB won't .
 
I also set my search terms on GB so as soon as something I'm looking for gets listed I get an auto email which pops up on my phone. I check it 24/7 cuz I'm up due to biz and quite often find good 'buy now' deals in the first thirty minutes.
 
What is your budget as HK is my specialty !
What type lower-FBI,navy,2rnd or 3 rnd burst ?
Lugged barrel or integrally suppressed my friend ?
 
I like the full select receicver. Don't know which one it is.
Semi 3rd and full. Lugged barrel.

Its the only machine gun I want. Just can't afford it with everything else.

Registered receiver or just a sear gun ?
Factory registered receiver is more but a decent MP5 will start at around 15k.

Too much $ now. Ask anyone what is the most precious metal on earth these days.
If they don't say a registered auto sear to a machine gun they don't know doooodly !
A one ounce HK sear can cost 12k !
I once had a factory made model 53 machine gun.
It had a 2rnd burst lower on it. Bought in 96 for 5500.
Sold it a few yrs ago for almost four times that.
Machine guns are fun when it's someone elses ammo.
The only time we will really need one there will be many laying all over the ground !

Yep. That's why I don't own any. Useless outside of cool factor. Along with the hassle of transporting, every time a cop sees it they flip a lil, and then they're allowed to search any time any where for that gun to make sure you hav it still.

benefit of reg receiver is it can be factory repaired.
Benefit of reg sear is if registered in all three cals you can move it from gun to gun and have as many select fire guns as you want !
 
The most precious piece of metal in the world lb for lb is a hk sear. Lol.

Exactly ATF has right to demand presentation of weapon and stamp 24/7 once you pay 200 and get stamp it is part of your acceptance of terms

No metal cost more or is worth more period.
A simple drop in auto sear for an AR15 is 7500.
Weighs less than an ounce !
Flemming, Vollmer or other HK sear 12.5 , Factory HK sear able to be owned by you and me FUGGETABOUTIT ! most exp metal in the world
 
M16 triggers go for a few hundy at the guns shows here last time I checked. They'll fit a pre ban ar or one that's had a little clearancing.

A trigger yes but not the sear. Two diff parts. Granted a sear for a reg M16 is not too much but I said reg HK SEAR big diff duder !
You can buy an M16 trigger at a gun show and may even get a sear but without a legal gun to put them in you will be in possession of machine gun parts with intent to manufacture and that can get you ten yrs in the pokie !
