Maybe....but who knows if these extraterrestrials are a violent species, they might just be explorers wanting to observe and didn't put time and energy into weapons.....

Back in 88, my wife and I both saw and heard some sort of UFO type thing. I called the police just to see if anyone else had reported it and they laughed about it. It hovered in the air for probably 10-15 minutes and then came over us, and we could hear a very low pitched humming sound. When it took off away from us, the sound didn't change, it just faded. And it went from looking like it was at a few thousand feet hovering over us to looking like it was thousands of miles away in seconds.
To this day, I wonder what it was. But I don't lose any sleep over it either.
As to the drones or whatever is flying on the east coast, I wouldn't be surprised if it was military stuff. And I also don't expect the military to tell the public what they are up to on a day to day basis. I read recently that the B1 bomber wasn't released to the public until it had been flying for around 20 years.

Latest theory is the drones are ours and they are seeking, researching and watching the red orbs nobody can explain.
Now THAT sounds plausible . . . one theory I heard was that there was a nuclear warhead went missing while in transit from Europe, the crate was empty on arrival in the US and the drones have plutonium sensors and were sniffing for it.
Crazy huh.
Whole family watches this hovering stationary one zip away at impossible speed. These events have even more people looking up now. And the more people looking up the more things are caught. Interesting times.

I don’t doubt there are flying objects in the sky but all I saw in that video was a light in the night sky for a few seconds and then the light went out. I didn’t see it ‘zip away at impossible speed’. The light just went out.

No convenience. I don’t really have an opinion about extra terrestrial life, only believe in what I factually know personally. Respect the opinion of others.
My theory is simple. An ant living in an ant hill in North Carolina, does not have the skills to know that Florida exists, and never will during it’s lifetime.
In short, we know what we know through technology and personal observations. If you see little green men running around, good for you. I respect that. They are not around anywhere where I have lived or been.

Considering our closest relative on this planet is an ape, and we only mastered flight a little over 100 years ago in an estimated earth inhabitance of approx 7 million years......what do we really know about anything.......
120 or so years ago we were relying on horses to get us around......yet we are now the all seeing, all knowing species of the universe......
I'm with you, and firmly believe we are not alone in the universe and have been and are being visited by extraterrestrials who see us for what we are....
I also watch "Ancient Aliens" and there are many things pointed out on that show which can't be explained away by modern knowledge....
It’s about an infinite universe we cannot see with the tools we have developed so far. We cannot see, only guess.
Highly unlikely that we are the only living species in the universe.
Our tools though, enable us to know, where planets are which may support life as we know it. And, they tell us that life as we know it, will need several life times to travel here.
I fully supported Musk’s vision of a Mars colony, even although there are many unknowns. Ultimately we do know however that life of planet earth is not infinite, and without attempts to find a new home in the very distant future, the human race will be extinct.
In your mind you're already there. As simple as our minds are and as complex as the universe is anything you can imagine already exists. This is a concept people like Sagan and Hawking believe/d. Our existence and knowledge is pitiful. Carl Sagan once said if you were to take every single grain of sand on this planet it would still not equal the number of stars and galaxies in the universe. Why? Because the grains you could in theory count as they are finite, the universe 'as we know it' isn't.
We are comparing what we know and basically still believe regarding evolution and creation only looking inward when we do because it's all we can do. And that is such a small amount of time it's silly.
We think about traveling 'there' by normal means, propulsion and similar. If I can type it than it's safe to say we will be able to teleport things or people. When? Who knows but I'm sure a few animals have already been used. When that happens than maybe you'll be able to input a spot in the universe light years away and be there in a blip?
We only know what we know now and there was time when locomotives were first being used many argued humans couldn't survive going that fast.

Not trying to sound like some sort of nut but what if there are civilizations out there which are far more advanced than humans and have a vastly superior knowledge of physics than we have?
How do we really know our knowledge of how things work is the only correct version?
There are weird things around the globe....the Nazca lines for instance.....why would ancient people put all that time and energy into building these if nobody was there to see them from the air...
What about perfectly cut rock faces which had burn marks on them where geologists said we don't have the ability to duplicate these cuts today....
Or structures thousands of years old with perfectly set, perfectly cut rocks weighing thousands of pounds still maintaining perfect spacing....
I think there are signs that someone/thing has been to this planet that didn't originate here...
Forget it. Their minds are either open or they will forget excuse what is simply.....obvious. Anyone who has ever watched the movie Chariots of the Gods and still thinks we are alone there is no help for. People in NJ are reporting drones and doing what? Taking videos. People way back saw same things and did what, drew pictures in stones.
You're right. There are an infinite amount of planets out there with an infinite amount of civilizations in infinite kinds.
IF we make it imagine how advanced we will be in just 100 more years, 1000 years? 10,000 years? Another million years from now what will humans be like? It was only 120 or so years ago we just took flight?
Neither of us really know. We can only dream, wonder and guess.
I visited the Parthenon, a few days ago, more than 500 years before Christ. Also the temple of Poseidon took the picture below. Not easy to do, even with our modern tools we have today. We can only wonder.
