Armorall

I had just armoralled my tires (car not bike) and I put the sponge on my tool box which sits in front of my bike. Since I hadn't rode my bike in a month, I decided to start up the Busa and let her run a little bit. After a little revving, the sponge I had placed on my tool box started to smoke. I didn't realize armorall was flammable but should have since it is a petroleum product. I moved the sponge. When I did, it was hot. My Busa could have been smokin', just not the way I wanted it.

Yes. The ledge of my tool box is about level with the radiator of the bike. I guess the heat coming from the radiator was warming up the armorall sponge.

wow...thats hot...I would check the plastics to make sure they are ok

You put Armorall on your TIRES  . Ya might want to go slow the next time you ride it, until all the armorall is OFF the tire edges. Or you'll be looking UP at your bike as you fall on your ----------- whatever

Why? Cars don't usually ride on the sides of their tires.

I would not recommend putting armor all any were on a motorcycle…. Unless it’s not actually ridden..

Just my 2 cents
