Would you know anyone with a turbo setup in Sydney that I might be able to have a look at next week? I'm up there for work next week.

Next question...

I'm going to have the stock each flashed rather then installing a pcv or similar.

In doing so would I be best:

A- reuse stock O2 sensor
B- install a wide band O2 sensor
C- remove the sensor completely and dyno tune without one.

If I'm to use the sensor what is the best place for it? Before or after the turbo?

I have also gone and purchased an external waste gate. Can I bolt the internal one shut or is it best to hook both up. And let hem work together?

After turbo, sensor cant stand the heat before

On your turbo if it were me i would put a separator on the outlet flange plate , remove the wastegate flap, oversize the hole and grind a good lead in so the exhaust can make the turn easier
and mount the wastegate off a pipe from the outlet flange
end result should look something like this

So I have been busy is the last few days.

Built a bike stand so I could start work.

Then got in and did the tear down

And mad myself a set of headers...

Hey guys sorry for the delays but I have been making slow progress on the build.

It has all come together now and the bike is up and running again with a turbo.
I will post some pics tomorrow.

home made headers
38 mm external waste gate with 3.7 psi spring.
woolich racing log box for tuning.
Zeitronix Zt-3 Wideband O2 Controller with ZR1 display
dragon digital boost guage.
turbo outlet is 2.5" dump into 2" pipe with Yoshi Tri-oval muffler. (silent assassin)
plenum from Mypowersports (ebay)
