BaBusa Passed Away

I realized many years ago that I sit in a place where I get to meet so many incredible people from so many places but it wasn't until about 10 years ago I realized the rest of the honor. As I have made some really good friends from the site I have also attended funerals too. Along with all the names on the site comes a story and man it gets harder and harder to see my friends getting old, getting sick, passing away... Al of those life tragedies that I see, There are some amazing people that have come and gone over the years and many that have passed that we just don't know about yet. Getting old sucks..
Cap that is life, people come and go, it's the one's that left a lasting impression that make you think about it!

Folks,
I'm not sure how many of you know Rich Courtney aka BABusa who was a long time member passed away. I don't have many details but I am hearing that his health turned poor. Rich was one of a kind and I had the honor of meeting up with him many times all over the country even with him living in California and myself in Oklahoma. Rich led me through California, Nevada, we rode the Tail of the Drag

on in North Carolina, Georgia and so many other places.

There are hundreds of photos of him on the site from many many years of participations.

RIP Rich..

R I P Rich
I rode with BA a couple of times, Since we lived close by. Great guy. He will be missed up in the Santa Cruz Moutains.

Wow, this is very sad news. RIP, Rich.

Rich did a ton for me to get me going as a rider when I was getting started. He just had a heart of gold and was generous to a fault.

I regret that I didn't stay in touch with him better than I did.

Saw this come back up on the new post, Rich was a great guy for sure.. Stubborn but man could he ride!
Oh yeah, Rich was a really good rider… I remember when he would ride out to SoCal, a large group of us would get together and go on our nice, “spirited” rides … a total blast … I also remember those subtle jokes of his lol or his favorite emoji character or the predecessor. Again… the good old days…
