Babyebusa

Welcome back! So glad your wife got the license plate info...that's great news!
Congrats on the new Busa too...
Good luck with the legal issues...

Glad to hear your recovery has gone well! Being a Fire Fighter/EMT I deal with way to many fatal accidents and bike wrecks. This is never far from my mind when riding myself. Your very fortunate with a skull fracture that things weren't worse, nothing i'm sure you don't already realize. No insurance for this gall? Hopefully she has some assets you can go after to pay for your hardware, injuries, and suffering. How was the medical care onscene? Or do you even remember?
Take care, JT!

Chris,

Glad that your able to get back in the saddle. Hop the rest of the recovery goes well too. As for the driver.......>>>>>

GLAD TO HEAR YOU ARE O/K AND BACK RIDING. REMEMBER HELMET AND KEEP IT BUCKLED.

                             :super:

I were a helmet now all the time. I always had my helmet on from home to work but just driving around down town I never had one on. The wreck happened about 30 mph but I must have bounced off the concrete bridge girdle. I don’t remember much about it just a black fender and tire coming at me and a major impact. The next thing I remember is the fact I was in a neck brace, my bike was 50 yards away and torn the F up. All I wanted to do was get back on my horse and get the Hell outta there. I had no idea what injuries I had. I knew I was in a lot of pain but I just wanted to fix my busa and beat some ass! Thank you all for your support in the matter. It’s been a horrific nightmare for me and my wife. I don’t remember much about it but my wife can replay every minute of it in her head like a video tape. She was reluctant to ride again but she is now riding her bike again and we are doing lunch today both on our street bikes so today will be a very good day. It sure makes you appreciate things a lot more when you come that close to death.

Sorry to hear about Chris's misfortune. Hope he gets
better really soon. <table style=filter:glow(color=Red)>BUSA!!!!!</table>

Wow...glad you are doing better.

Accidents do happen, and anyone of us could cause one, but running away is unforgivable. We need harsher penalties for such cowards.

Good luck with the new ride.

Welcome back. now DON'T ever drive without helmet again!!! It's funny: in Portugal you have the worse European drivers, but people driving motorcycles always wear helmets. A strange country this is... :tounge:
