Back from the Dyno ... Not Happy !!!

Top sheet > current bike 1,056mls

Bottom sheet (deceased) 2,796mls

You reckon those miles would make a big difference ??

More teeth on the back doesn't that give you more top speed & less low down ?

No, it's the other way round. try running -1 on the front and +2 on the back... the difference in acceleration is pretty substantial.

I am shocked your a/f ratio is that good with full race filter, full system and no power commander. That is great.

Not starting a flame war here but 1 there is no way your A/F is that good untuned. 2 Those numbers are on par IMO mine was tuned last night full R 77 BMC and power commander untuned put down 170 2 hrs later with the AF right it went 183 mind you this was on a hot motor and in the humid south.

As I posted above, I tend to agree with you, but who knows. I have heard the factory suzuki is able to accommodate those changes and have also heard they are a bit rich from the factory. I would like to know if that is the case though, it does sound strange.

Usually when you see a bike that has the stock fueling, the A/F will vary quite a bit in the low RPM then smooth out. That looks straight as an arrow.

First bike I have read about here that makes that kinda power without a pwr cmndr or bazaaz ?

I'm in Australia .... Maybe the sea level thing is a variable, I'm as surprised as anyone, specially when I get the BMC fitted, would the bike not suck more air & leave it running lean, and if not, why the F**k did I spend the money on the filter. Do dyno guys lie ? There is not black sout in the end cap whatsoever. The bike does seem to backfire (or SPLUTTER might be a better word) on downshift a little.

I'll hang back on those spockets I think, till I figure things out !!
I appreciate your imput on this guyz ... Thanx

In Florida and two mins from beach.
Still didnt make that kind of power without power adder or PC ?

Yes a dyno can be 'adjusted' to give better than actual figures so I have heard.
Either way just be happy and enjoy it :beerchug:

When I checked the bike in I spoke to him bout ECU editor > he really didn't want to know about it ! When I left the shop dissappointed with the outcome of the figures, he said "get a powercommander and we can probably squeeze some more out of it" ! Anti ECU editor hey, his loss ! He is the only guy within a 500 mile radius with a dyno that could do it.

Might be a sea level thing, I wonder what kinda figures other guys are getting in Australia ?

sea level is sea level no matter what country you're in , right.
I have PC V and am making 186.
If your making 186 without get one and see what she will do.

i felt seat of the pants/oops was that a wheelie, hp increase when i went down a mile in altitude. now im on here lookin how to get that power back!
