Yeah. When I was using drop pegs if I put the lever where I wanted it it often times wouldn’t have enough rotation/force to go from 2-1. With the vortex pegs because it changes the angle of everything passed on peg position you can always have ideal geometry. Cyclegear has a universal shift rod kit that I used and a few other guys I’ve talked to have used to get everything to fit perfectly.

With the 40 mm drop pegs to get the shifter in the ideal position for me, it won’t allow downshifts. Shifter hit’s kickstand, so I’ll be switching to the 25 mm drop.

M-Factory drop pegs, inexpensive! Fits with no mods! Clockable! Serves there purpose! Works well for the price.

Not to mention they’re modular, I bought a few sets of their pegs to swap out depending on how I’m riding.
