Barber Motorsports Park this weekend

I am all packed up, but still need to prep my bike when I get down there tomorrow....rats. Never got around to it.

Should be to the gate around 5:00.

Anybody in the group good at bleeding brakes? I have tried twice and still can't seem to get the air out. I am bringing a bleeder kit and two bottles of Dot4. See you there.

I had fully intended on making this, but I seem to have more riding time left than budget this year. Spent a load on gear for the band, but guess playing this winter when I can't ride will help me from getting cabin fever. Wish I could join you.

I've done it enough now Charlie I think I could help you. And I'm sure Randy and his buds can do better than me....

All packed up out in the parking lot a work leaving in about 2 hours!!!

This link to a hilarious craigslist ad showed up on my local forum. Apparently someone will be so tired after each session that they want to hire a paddock girl to help out. Probably just a girl that he can stare at all day tho lol

"Paddock Girl" needed for a motorcycle trackday

I need a "Paddock Girl"(details below) for a motorcycle trackday at: Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL. Track website: Barber Motorsports

Date and time of need: Saturday, October 23rd from 8:00am-5:00pm

I need someone to assist me with the below list when I come off the track:

* Provide shade with an umbrella
* Hand me Drinks and Towels
* Assist me in putting on Tire warmers (very easy)
* Be in Good Spirits and photogenic

Easy enough right. I will be very tired each time I come off the track which is why I need help with just simple tasks.

I will race 20 mins of each hour from 9am to 5pm with a one hour lunch break. While I'm on the track, you can just chill in a chair under a canopy that I'll bring.

Pay: $100 for the day. I'll pay $50 when you arrive at 8am (need to be on time) and another $50 at 5pm.

Let me know if you are interested

Thanks,
Ryan

Yea, they made fun of "Ryan" with the paddock girl ad yesterday at rider meeting.

I ran N yesterday and ended up running a 2:02 and today I finally get to ride with the rest of the .org'sters. In I today.

I gotta say though, BlondeOnaBusa is the best crew chief down there!

imagine me jumping up and down like a kid stomping my feet throwing a tantrum... I so wanted to be there this weekend. I'm sorry I missed out yet again. funding just wouldn't quite allow it this time..

Well, my day didn't end so well. I went down in the kink on the back straight at 95-100 mph. LA Busa was right behind me when i went down I haven't seen Luci since the crash. I'm waiting to be released from the ER now with a broken toe, a few sprains and bumps. The gear did it's job well.

Sorry to hear Dennis, but talk about the best case in a bad situation... on the track full gear with people able and eager to help... post pics when you can and we'll see what we can do. Heal up quickly!
