I have them both, I like BF3 MUCH more than COD. If you really want the full experience, get it on a fast running PC. 64 people at a time and bigger maps. I play on xbox, have several friends that play PC tho and they wont touch the xbox controller. 
I got CoD the day it came out and have not even played 2 hours on it because I am too busy playing battlefield

Really nice game, even with those bugs, game have.
Love big boy guns, machine-guns, rocket launchers, explosives, etc. machine gun + thermal visor = badass
Knifing is also fun, but way too bugged...
BF3 don't have such action, as MW has, so i vote for MW, cuz love those fast-fights.

I got xbox BF3 Limited edition for $28 at Walmart as well. I knew they were going to try to kill each other for the regular ones at 10 pm when they cut the film off the displays so I went to the electronics section and had them pull one from the case and check the price. Paid for it and laughed at the rest of the fools still fighting for them.
They still had some in the case a few hours later. So I guess no one knows that secret...
Also got 4 of the 3 month xbox live gold cards for $10 each at Target. Then I get online earlier to activate one of the cards and see Xbox has a special on Live right now for 39.99 so I didn't really lose any money but I didn't get as good of a deal as I thought..
oh well no drama at Target so it was walk in and walk out and it was on the way home.
I haven't played anything online ont he xbox in a long time and realized I suck pretty bad at BF3.

Also what is a good noob friendly map to play so I can get used to the controls without dying every few seconds.

I see that your online all the time but usually when a friend is playing bf3 it allows me to hit x and join like i did with gpmo.
Lately all I've seen is you and gpmo online but unable to hit x to join your team on same maps?

all the fun you guys are having has pushed me to get another game console. I have a Wii in the living room and mainly use it for Netflix and the kids play a few games on it.
But I just ordered me a Playstation 3 for my room. As soon as I get it I will try to hook up with you guys and you can use me for bait until I know how to work it.
