hey all this is the first time for me to see this thread wow thanks for the support i should be home soon thanks to everyone that is suppoirting me now scootergirl and mike are just 2 that i now consider to be friends that i love i owe mnay people thanks for the wonderful support. i will read all of this thread when i get home next week peace out i love you all. james

After multiple attempts to contact him, I finally got to talk to James today..
All I can say, is he is one tough SOB!!
This is the first time that he sounded like himself...he sounded GREAT!!! Sharp as a tack, has nearly all his memory back.....dam....it was great to talk to him again.
I really think he is blown away at all the support he has recieved from the 2 websites.
It is just cool to know that he is "back" again. He anticipates going home as early as this wednesday. He is getting around on crutches well, but the doc says he is ready to start walking again.
James says he'll be on 2 wheels again by years end.
One of the coolest things to happen to him of late, was the fact that the doc's canceled his appointment at St Joe for more intense therapy...they say he doesn't need it! He has progressed much faster than they thought he would.
I'd like to give a big Kudos to Mike (zxmurphy), Teresa (scootergirl), and Cheri (whitefire).
These three have gone way beyond what any normal person would do. They are at least partially responsible for James' recovery..
Just great people.
